Ski Cross FIS
The goal of this program is to provide FIS athletes with the opportunity to learn to compete in the exciting sport of ski cross.
Athletes will enjoy a well-rounded, high-level training environment. Alpine training will be layered with ski cross skill development and a robust dryland program.
This program runs all year, beginning in June.
All athletes participating in this program will be guided towards appropriate physical training programs during the off season.
Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in Ski Cross races (NorAm, FIS and Western Ski Cross) and Alpine races (FIS and open).
Team transportation runs out of Calgary with a pickup in Canmore. The cost for transportation is mandatory with program registration.

Programs details:
- One COP evening to work on technical skills, starts and air time
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday training
- Continuous dryland during the season
- Purchase of a Canada West Pass is highly recommended
- Potential summer camp in Mt Hood (late June/early July): 7 days (additional cost)
- Dryland: individual programs during summer, club camps periodically during July and August, more details to come
- Fall camps: alpine camps available in November and December
- Other camps: speed alpine camp, spring camp if available
- Competitions: FIS and open Alberta Alpine races, FIS and NorAm SX races (evaluated by coaching staff), Western SX series
- Transportation (van from Calgary or Bow Valley) to be finalized
- Number of days on snow: 80-90
Important notes:
1. When registering on the RAMP website, an Alberta Alpine fee will be added to the program fee. This is for insurance purposes and it allows athletes to race in Alberta Alpine sanctioned races. Parents MUST be registered with Alberta Alpine so please complete the parent information section.
2. Based on registration, EVOLVE Ski Cross Club reserves the right to combine, change or modify the program as needed.
3. Prices are current as of June 2019 and do not include Alberta Alpine fees.
