High Performance SBX / All Mountain Development

Following Canada Snowboard’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) guidelines, athletes will be at the train-to-compete (stage 5). With 40 days on snow, our SBX comp athletes are developing into some of the best in Canada, further developing the skills introduced in the 20-day program. Competing in Regional and FIS level competitions, these athletes are pushing their personal limits and testing themselves against other SBX athletes across the country. The on-snow training provides the preparation for the podium performances they are pursuing. Our talented coaches will use proven and innovative techniques to get the very best performances out of athletes. If success at the regional and FIS level is in your sights and you are looking into the future to move to the highest level of the sport, this program is for you. Athletes in this program will have the chance to compete in Slopestyle, Rail Jams, Banked Slaloms and All Mountain Freeride competitions.
Optional dryland and weeknight training at Winsport can be considered to further enhance the experience.
